Technical Supervisor – Social Housing

Location: North West London

Salary: 45,000 + Company Van & Fuel Card

Contract: Permanent

We are currently working with a well–established social housing provider to recruit an experienced Technical Supervisor to join their growing property services team in North West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong trade background who is looking to step into a supervisory role overseeing a varied portfolio of works including day–to–day repairs, voids, planned works, and damp & mould remediation.

The Role

As a Technical Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high–quality maintenance services across housing stock. You will oversee operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the required standard.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervising reactive repairs, void property refurbishments, and planned maintenance worksManaging and resolving damp & mould cases in line with current regulations and best practiceConducting pre– and post–inspections to ensure quality controlSupporting operatives with technical guidance and problem–solving on–siteMonitoring performance and productivity of teams and subcontractorsEnsuring compliance with health & safety standards and company proceduresLiaising with tenants, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

About You

We are looking for someone who has come from a hands–on trade background and progressed into a supervisory or team leader role within social housing or a similar environment.

You will have:

A recognised trade qualification (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, or general building)Proven experience supervising repairs, voids, and/or planned worksStrong knowledge of damp & mould diagnosis and remediationExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlinesA full UK driving licence
