Are you eager to land a brand new permanent role for the New Year? Our client, a busy Local Authority in South East London, are looking for an experienced Plumber to join their team and play a crucial role within their Repairs operations.

Position: Plumber

Location: South East London

Salary: GBP41,580 per annum

Contract Duration: Permanent

Work Pattern: Mon – Fri / 8am – 4pm

Purpose:

To be responsible for completing a range of Repair & Maintenance work for Tenants and voids properties within the Borough. Job Responsibilities:

To ensure that completed repairs are to a high standard, whilst ensuring high levels of customer care and satisfaction. To ensure that associated works such as removing/refitting kitchen units, wall and floor tiling, skirting, panelling and ducting etc are carried out also to a high standard. From time to time as when required by management assist in emergency call outs (for example as a result of bad weather, vandalism, fire etc). Job Requirements:

Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar public sector organisation. At least 2 years experience within a Plumber role or equivalent. Qualified ( Level 3 City & Guilds and/or equivalent e.g. NVQ) in plumbing. Full UK driving licence is desirable.
