Plasterer – School Environment

Location: London

Requirement: Valid Enhanced DBS certificate

We are looking for an experienced Plasterer to carry out repair and finishing work within a school in London.

The successful candidate must be reliable, professional and comfortable working in an occupied education environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare walls, ceilings and other surfaces for plastering.

Complete patch repairs, skimming and general remedial plasterwork.

Repair cracks, holes and damaged plaster.

Apply smooth, high-quality finishes ready for decoration.

Mix and apply plaster using appropriate tools and techniques.

Protect floors, furniture and surrounding areas.

Keep the working area clean, tidy and safe.

Complete work with minimal disruption to pupils and staff.

Follow all safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

Requirements

Valid Enhanced DBS certificate – essential.

Previous professional plastering experience.

Experience working in schools or public buildings is desirable.

Strong surface-preparation and finishing skills.

Own tools and PPE where required.

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

Professional conduct and awareness of safeguarding responsibilities. xjnqpsq

Relevant trade qualifications are desirable but not essential.
