Operations Manager - Refurbishments
West Midlands based
80K - 95K + Car Allowance + Benefits
We are working with a leading national regeneration contractor to recruit an Operations Manager to join their highly successful team based in Birmingham.
The Operations Manager will oversee teams delivering refurbishment projects, including roofing, cladding, and associated external works on high rise blocks. We are looking for candidates with comparable refurbishment experience on high risk buildings and live environments working for a Main Contractor. The successful candidate will have experience managing projects of 20m+.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven Operations Manager, Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager with a determined and motivated attitude. You will be instrumental in managing the contracts and leading a team of Project Managers, Site Manager's, Resident Liaison Officers, and subcontractors. This role will grow into a regional position, with further secured projects to be added to your portfolio.
Operations Manager Key Skills/Requirements:
Ensure the delivery of the projects within the budget and time scales specifiedExperience in a similar management position leading on complex refurbishment projectsFocus on motivation of the workforce to deliver on time and to budgetFocus on quality, customer service and deliverDriving profitability of the contract to include pricing and delivering of extra worksProcess Management and Programming experienceManagement of the customerHave an understanding of the financials on the contractSMSTS & NVQ Level 6 or equivalent Operations Manager Salary & Package

Travel across the West Midlands will be required for this role.
