Your new role

As a Building Surveyor, you'll lead projects to reinstate commercial properties following damage, with values ranging from 50k to 5m. You'll manage technical reporting, defect diagnosis, contract administration, and project delivery. Depending on the project's complexity, you may work independently or lead a small team of professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting site inspections and preparing technical reportsDiagnosing defects and preparing Schedules of WorksManaging tenders, contracts, and project deliverySupporting clients through the claims process with empathyCollaborating with internal teams and external stakeholdersContributing to team development and mentoring junior colleaguesWhat you'll need to succeed

You'll be an MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor or working towards chartership, with a building surveying–related RICs accredited degree and strong technical expertise.

You'll need to demonstrate:

Extensive knowledge of building construction and legislationExperience in contract administration and project planningAbility to manage your own caseload and make decisions under pressureStrong communication skills and empathy for clientsA full UK driving licence (site travel required)What you'll get in return
