Multi Trader
A new opportunity has arisen to work for a housing provider as a Multi Trader on a permanent basis.
Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance and repairs within occupied and void social housing properties. The role involves travel between properties, with work allocated as close to your home location as possible.
Pay Rate:
34,000 per annum - Permanent
Duties Include
Carrying out responsive repairs and void refurbishments within social housing properties.Completing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple trades.Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs within agreed timescales.Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.Delivering excellent customer service when working in occupied homes.Using PDA/mobile devices to manage and complete work orders.Maintaining accurate records of completed works and materials used.Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
Skills Required
General multi-trade experience within social housing, maintenance, or property services.Ability to undertake basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling, plastering, painting, and decorating.Experience with kitchen and bathroom repairs.UPVC repairs and general maintenance works.Ability to identify defects and carry out remedial repairs.Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Full UK driving licence preferred.Strong customer service and communication skills.
