Multi Trader Voids Repairs & Maintenance Location: Birmingham, north and south

Job Type: Full–Time Permenant

Our client, a leading contractor within the social housing sector, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Multi Trader to join their growing repairs and maintenance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and reliable tradesperson with experience working within occupied and void social housing properties, delivering high–quality repairs and maintenance works while providing excellent customer service to tenants and clients.

Key Responsibilities Carrying out day–to–day responsive repairs and planned maintenance worksWorking across occupied and void social housing propertiesCompleting a variety of multi–trade tasks including: CarpentryBasic plumbingPatch plasteringTiling repairsPainting & decorating touch–upsLock changes/repairsGeneral property maintenance Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently to a high standardEnsuring all works are completed within agreed timescalesDelivering excellent customer service when working in tenants homesAccurately completing job sheets and reporting works via PDA/tablet systemsMaintaining health & safety standards at all times Requirements Proven experience as a Multi Trader within social housing, repairs, or maintenanceStrong all–round trade skills with a core trade background preferredExperience working in occupied propertiesExcellent problem–solving skills and ability to work independentlyGood communication and customer–facing skillsFull UK driving licenceOwn tools (preferred unless otherwise supplied) Desirable Relevant NVQ/City & Guilds qualificationExperience using PDA systems for job managementSocial housing or local authority contractor experience What s on Offer Competitive salaryOngoing work with established contractsVan & fuel cardSupportive team and long–term career prospects If you are an experienced Multi Trader looking for your next role within the social housing sector, we want to hear from you.
