A permanent opportunity is available for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join the Empty Homes team. This role offers a company van, fuel card, excellent pension package and long–term career progression following a 12–week temporary period.

The successful Multi Trade Operative will support the refurbishment and turnaround of vacant social housing properties across Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas. This position is ideally suited to someone with a strong carpentry background alongside solid plumbing skills.

Multi Trade Operative duties:Carrying out carpentry and plumbing works within void social housing propertiesCompleting repairs and maintenance to bring homes up to lettable standardWorking across a regional social housing patch covering Bristol, Bath and surrounding areasSupporting the Empty Homes team with day–to–day refurbishment tasksEnsuring all works are completed safely and to a high standardLiaising with tenants, supervisors and specialist contractors where requiredManaging workloads effectively to meet turnaround targetsThe successful Multi Trade Operative will have:Strong carpentry experience as a primary tradeGood plumbing skills within domestic propertiesPrevious social housing or void property experience preferredExperience working within building maintenance or property repairsAbility to work independently across a regional patchFull UK driving licenceIn return, the Multi Trade Operative will receive: 21 per hour during the temporary periodCompany van and fuel cardPermanent salary of 33,000 – 35,000 after 12 weeksOvertime opportunities34 days holiday10% matched pension contributionBirthday offLong–term progression opportunitiesIf you are interested in this Multi Trade Operative role, please apply.
