We are looking for a Machine Operator to join a growing team based in Haydock on a permanent, full-time basis.This is a varied, hands-on position that would suit somebody from a machine operating, construction, warehouse, engineering or maintenance background who is comfortable travelling and working away from home.

You will be trained to operate specialist portable reforming machinery, travelling to live construction projects across the UK to produce roofing profiles accurately to individual project specifications.

Your new role

Operating specialist mobile precision machinery on active construction sitesSetting up and operating portable reforming machines safely and efficientlyProducing roofing profiles in line with project specificationsWorking closely with site teams to ensure work is completed accuratelyWorking safely at height when requiredCarrying out general machine checks and maintenanceAssisting with the upkeep of equipment between projectsCompleting warehouse and maintenance duties while based at the Haydock facilityTravelling throughout the UK to different construction projectsStaying away from home as required by the working rotaTravelling internationally once fully trained and competent within the roleFollowing site health & safety procedures at all timesThe position involves regular travel and working away.

Weeks 1 & 2: You'll typically be travelling and working on construction sites across the UK.

Week 3: You'll return to the Haydock facility, supporting with warehousing, equipment and maintenance duties.Following your initial training, you'll also need to be flexible to travel internationally when required, including to the EU, Middle East and USA.
