Role OverviewA Multi–Skilled Engineer is required to support building services maintenance across a commercial site in Southampton. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring all plant and equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasksRespond to reactive maintenance requests and breakdownsDiagnose faults and complete repairs on electrical and mechanical systemsMaintain HVAC, lighting, power, and general building services equipmentEnsure compliance with health and safety procedures at all timesComplete accurate maintenance records and job reportsWork to agreed service levels and response timesSupport subcontractors and external engineers on site when requiredParticipate in an on–call rota if required RequirementsExperience in building services or facilities maintenanceElectrical and/or mechanical qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)Ability to fault–find and repair across multiple systemsExperience with PPM and reactive maintenanceUnderstanding of HVAC and general building systemsGood communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAwareness of health and safety legislation and procedures What s OfferedCompetitive salary dependent on experienceTraining and development opportunitiesLong–term stable position within building servicesOvertime and call–out pay (where applicable)Opportunity to progress within a multi–skilled engineering environment
