Skilled Labourer / Site Operative – Water Industry

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Skilled Labourer / Site Operative to join a leading contractor operating within the UK water industry.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous experience working on construction, civil engineering or utilities projects, who is comfortable working in a busy site environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general site maintenance, housekeeping and labouring duties.

Assist groundworkers with excavation, backfilling, drainage and other civil engineering activities.

*

Support mechanical, electrical and other tradespeople with day-to-day site activities.

*

Ensure working areas are kept clean, tidy, safe and free from hazards.

*

Assist with moving, loading, unloading and distributing materials, tools and equipment.

*

Erect and maintain temporary barriers, signage and site protection measures.

*

Support site preparation, clearance and reinstatement works.

*

Assist with basic construction tasks and minor maintenance works as required.

*

Follow site health and safety procedures, RAMS and instructions from site management.

*

Carry out other general labouring and site support duties as required. xjnqpsq

Requirements

* EUSR Water Hygeine Card

*

Valid CSCS Card

*

Full UK driving licence desirable.
