The Opportunity

Proactive Staff are representing an established fire protection company, seeking an experienced ANSUL Fire Suppression Engineer to join their growing team. Covering Birmingham this is a field–based role servicing commercial kitchen fire suppression systems for clients across hospitality, facilities management, and commercial sectors.

• GBP35k basic salary

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair ANSUL R–102 kitchen fire suppression systems

• Carry out system inspections and routine maintenance in accordance with industry standards

• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on suppression equipment

• Complete installation and commissioning works where required

• Provide accurate service reports and documentation electronically

• Participate in a call–out rota to support emergency works both in and out of hours

Requirements

• Experience working with ANSUL or kitchen fire suppression systems

• CSCS or equivalent

• If applicable and subject to qualifications, service and install portable fire extinguishers to British and Europeans standards.

• Background in fire suppression, fire protection, or related field engineering roles

• Good fault–finding and problem–solving skills

• Full UK driving licence

• Ability to work independently in a field–based role

Location Coverage

This role will cover Birmingham and surrounding areas, with occasional travel. On rare occasions the role may require lodging away for short periods.
