Description
Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Homeless Prevention Officer for a Local Authority Client in Ashton–under–Lyne.
In this role you will support people at risk of homelessness by providing advice, assessments, and practical housing solutions to help prevent or relieve homelessness.
Duties:
Provide advice, assessments, and Personal Housing Plans to prevent or relieve homelessness.Work with partners, landlords, and agencies to identify and secure housing solutions.Support vulnerable clients with their housing and wider support needs.Keep accurate case records, meet performance targets, and ensure legal duties are fulfilled.Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
Experience in homelessness, housing management, or housing advice services.Experience working with vulnerable clients in a customer–focused, face–to–face environment.Experience of multi–agency working, including collaboration with external partners.Experience in assessing complex situations and identifying practical solutions.What's on offer:
Salary: 18ph
may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience
Contract type: 3–6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
