As a Highway Maintenance Operative, you'll be working across Surrey to ensure the safety and upkeep of highways and roads. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Patching potholes and resurfacing worksDrainage repairs and maintenanceResponsive/reactive roadworksStructural road and footpath repairsKerbing, white works, and verge reinstatementOperating machinery such as rollers, compactors, and pneumatic toolsInstalling and repairing ironwork, kerbs, and drainage systemsPreparing and reinstating excavation areas with materials like tarmac, asphalt, or concreteIdentifying underground utilities and working safely around themWhat We're Looking For:

We're seeking individuals with hands-on experience in highway maintenance, particularly in the following areas:

DrainagePatchingStructural repairsResponsive repair worksGeneral reinstatementPreferred Qualifications:

NRSWA Operatives Units 1-9NHSS 12AB or 12DHGV Class 2 (Category C) license (desirable)A full UK manual driving licence is essential for all applicants.
