Vacancy: Head of Maintenance
Location: Bromley (Kent)
Salary: GBP36,800.00pa (40hrs per week)
The Head of Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the care home environment is safe,
well–maintained/presented, and compliant with all relevant health, safety, and statutory
requirements. This role will have a particular focus on the following areas:
Regulatory ComplianceHealth & SafetyPlanned Preventative MaintenanceFire SafetyDaily MaintenanceContractor & Budget Management What we are looking for:
Experience in a similar role with a good understanding of building services including, heating, hot and cold–water distribution, ventilation, electrical distribution, plumbing, gardening, painting and decoratingA professional, who understands the importance of maintaining high standards working to statutory requirements and compliance to ensure our residents enjoy a safe and comfortable environmentA friendly and approachable team player with the ability to troubleshoot when necessaryHold a full, clear UK Driving LicenceYou will be a compassionate, empathetic, kind, and caring individualProactive and compliance driven.Strong attention to detail with a safety–first mindset.Able to balance hands–on maintenance with regulatory management.
