Description
General Foreman
We are currently seeking an experienced General Foreman to join a major highways scheme, overseeing drainage and structures works.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site teams and subcontractors, coordinating daily activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising drainage and structures packages.
* Managing site operatives and subcontractors.
* Coordinating daily site activities and work schedules.
* Ensuring health and safety compliance across site.
* Monitoring progress and reporting to the Site Manager.
* Ensuring works are completed to specification and programme.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a General Foreman on highways or civil engineering projects.
* Strong background in drainage and structures works.
* Good knowledge of highways construction.
* SSSTS or SMSTS.
* CSCS card. xjnqpsq
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
