Gas Engineer: Ad Hoc / Reactive Installs (Self-Employed)

Midlands | Up to £850 per job | Ad hoc, flexible work | Paid 1 week after invoice

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating installer for self-employed Gas Safe engineers across the Midlands. This is ad hoc, reactive work. You pick up installs as they come in, so you can fit it around your other commitments or use it to keep your diary full.

Top rates

* Boiler conversion, BBU to combi: £850

* Boiler conversion, regular/system to combi: £800

Plus add-ons on every job, paid on top of the base price, including:

* Boiler swaps and relocations

* New and exchanged radiators, TRVs and lockshield valves

* Vertical flues

* Gas pipework upgrades (priced per metre)

* Magnetic system cleanses

* Thermostats and controls

Payment: Invoices are paid one week after submission.

What you’ll need

* Current Gas Safe registration (with relevant boiler installation experience)

* Own van, tools and ladders

* Public liability insurance

* A smartphone to complete on-site submission forms with photos and video

* Right to work in the UK

What you’ll do: Install and convert boilers to a high standard, survey jobs from the photos provided, complete the paperwork on the day, and remove waste from site. xjnqpsq
