Description
Domestic Gas Engineer – Central Belt
Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE
Location: Central Belt, Scotland
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time
FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for a Domestic Gas Engineer on behalf of an established Facilities Management provider operating across Scotland.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer looking for a mobile maintenance role with the added opportunity to gain commercial gas qualifications, fully supported by the company.
The Role
Working across a mixture of social housing and commercial contracts throughout the Central Belt, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out planned and reactive gas maintenance.
*
Servicing, fault finding and repairing domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
*
Diagnosing breakdowns and completing necessary repairs.
*
Undertaking general heating maintenance across social housing properties.
*
Supporting maintenance works across commercial contracts.
*
Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with current gas regulations.
*
Participating in a 1 in 5 on-call rota.
Salary & Benefits

Salary up to £40,000, depending on experience.

Requirements
*
Fully qualified Domestic Gas Engineer.
*
Current domestic ACS gas qualifications.
*
Experience in servicing, maintenance and fault finding.

Previous experience within social housing or Facilities Management would be advantageous.
*
Full UK driving licence.
*
Keen to develop skills and gain commercial gas qualifications. xjnqpsq
