Factoring Assistant

Edinburgh | £20 per hour | 3–6 months | Hybrid working

Peace Recruitment is recruiting a Factoring Assistant for a housing association in Edinburgh on an initial 3–6 month contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone with housing association experience to apply their customer service and administration skills within a factoring team. Extensive factoring experience isn’t essential — experience within housing and a willingness to learn are more important.

Key responsibilities:

* Responding to homeowners’ enquiries by phone and email.

* Supporting the day-to-day administration of the factoring service.

* Maintaining accurate property and customer records.

* Liaising with colleagues and contractors over communal repairs and maintenance.

* Assisting with correspondence, invoices and account enquiries.

* Logging service requests and complaints, ensuring these are passed to the appropriate colleagues and followed up.

About you:

You’ll have experience working within a housing association, ideally in housing administration, customer service or a related role. xjnqpsq You’ll be organised, confident dealing with customers and comfortable maintaining accurate records while managing competing priorities.

Previous factoring experience would be useful, but you don’t need an extensive background in it to be considered
