Salary: 28,000 – 35,000 per year (depending on experience and successful interview)

Facilities Assistant

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to join our client's site operations team. This role is ideal for someone hands–on, dependable, and eager to grow within a busy industrial environment. The successful Maintenance Fitter will support routine maintenance tasks, minor repairs, and general site duties to ensure safe and efficient operation of plant machinery and equipment.

Your Role

As a Facilities Assistant, your duties will include:

Performing routine and preventative maintenance on plant and machinerySupporting senior fitters and engineers with repairs and installationsEnsuring tools and equipment are maintained in good working conditionKeeping work areas clean, safe and well–organisedFollowing all site health and safety proceduresCarrying out general site duties as requiredRequirements

Mechanical knowledge or experience in a similar roleWillingness to learn and follow instructionsStrong teamwork skillsReliable, punctual and positive attitudeAwareness of health & safety practicesExperience using hand and power toolsAvailability for overtime and callouts when requiredDesirable skills for a Facilities Assistant

Experience within manufacturing or an industrial environmentAbility to complete safety documentationForklift or MEWP licenceBasic welding or fabrication skillsPlumbing experiencePay & Shifts
