Estates Manager

Location: Oxford

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Temporary 12 weeks

Pay: GBP25.19 per hour

Start: ASAP

We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious organisation for an experienced Estates Manager to join their team on a temporary basis.

This is a hands–on estates leadership role, overseeing maintenance, contractors, projects, budgets and health & safety across a busy multi–site environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage planned and reactive maintenance programmes

Lead and support the maintenance team

Manage contractors, suppliers and external service providers

Oversee estates projects, budgets and procurement

Monitor building compliance, health & safety and statutory requirements

Manage contractor performance and project delivery

Prepare budget, performance and estates reports

Support longer–term estates planning and development

About You

Previous supervisory/management experience within Estates or Facilities

Strong experience managing contractors and supply chains

Project and budget management experience

Good understanding of buildings and the built environment

Strong knowledge of health & safety requirements

Experience leading a team and delivering estates projects

Confident IT user, including Microsoft Excel

Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Estates professional available for an immediate start.

The role is based fully on–site in Oxford, with no on–site parking available.
