Keyman Personnel are recruiting for an Estate Gardener to join an established landscape and garden maintenance team working on a prestigious private estate in the Ascot / Sunninghill area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical gardening experience who is looking to develop their horticultural knowledge and build a long-term career within high-end estate gardening.

You will be working as part of a small, experienced team maintaining extensive gardens and grounds to an exceptionally high standard.

The Role

Your day-to-day duties will include:

* General horticultural and estate gardening duties

* Lawn care and maintenance

* Maintaining borders, beds and planted areas

* Pruning, trimming and seasonal horticultural work

* Ground clearance and general grounds maintenance

* Sweeping and maintaining hard landscaped areas and garden furniture

* Safe use of gardening machinery, manual tools and power tools

* Chemical applications and associated record keeping where appropriately trained

* Assisting with both general and more specialised horticultural tasks

Training and development will be provided for the right candidate.

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

* Has previous gardening, grounds maintenance or estate gardening experience

* Has a genuine interest in horticulture and high-end gardening

* Is enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn

* Works well as part of a small, close-knit team

* Is comfortable taking instruction from experienced members of the team

* Can also work independently and take ownership of tasks

* Has excellent attention to detail

* Has a strong work ethic and proactive attitude

* Is trustworthy and able to maintain a high level of discretion

* Is interested in developing their skills through further training

A horticultural qualification or apprenticeship would be advantageous but is not essential.

PA1 and PA6 qualifications would be beneficial; training can be provided where required.

Essential

Due to the private estate's location, you must hold a full driving licence and have your own vehicle, as the site is not accessible by public transport. xjnqpsq
