We’re looking for an experienced Electrician to join a well-established team working across social housing properties in and around Long Bennington and the surrounding areas.

The role will involve electrical repairs and maintenance, alongside supporting renewable energy improvements including air source heat pumps and solar PV, helping to provide more energy-efficient homes for residents.

The RoleAs a Social Housing Electrician, your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and installation work across social housing properties.

Working in a multi-skilled environment and undertaking other trade-related works where you are suitably competent.

Attending scheduled repairs and maintenance appointments on time and completing works within agreed targets.

Diagnosing faults and identifying any remedial works required.

Arranging follow-on works, appointments and materials where necessary.

Ensuring waste and debris are removed following completion of works.

Supporting the wider team in achieving operational KPIs and service standards.

Participating in an out-of-hours emergency repairs and maintenance rota when required.

Providing support and guidance to trainees, apprentices and other team members where appropriate.

Working safely and professionally while maintaining high standards of customer service.
