Are you an experienced Electrical / MEP Project Director looking to take a leading role on a major, high-value construction project with an established international general contractor?
Join a growing business delivering technically complex projects across the UK and Europe. This is an opportunity to take ownership of electrical / MEP delivery on a significant upcoming development, with autonomy, visibility across the business and direct access to senior leadership.
You'll lead the electrical / MEP project team from pre-construction through installation, commissioning and handover, bringing together design, procurement, commercial and site delivery teams. This role would suit an established Project Director or a Senior Electrical / MEP Project Manager with experience leading substantial packages who is ready to step up.
Your role will include:
Taking overall responsibility for electrical / MEP delivery, including programme, budget, quality and safety.Leading project managers, engineers and specialist subcontractors.Overseeing design coordination, procurement and installation planning.Managing client relationships and working closely with the wider project leadership team.Identifying risks, resolving technical challenges and driving project milestones.You will have:
A strong electrical engineering or MEP building services background.Experience delivering major electrical / MEP packages on high-value construction projects - e.g. data centres, pharmaceutical facilities, logistics developments.Strong commercial awareness and experience managing programmes, budgets and subcontractors.The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and build effective client relationships.Experience in technically demanding sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, advanced manufacturing or major industrial developments.
