Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a social housing provider, for a Disrepair Lead. The successful postholder will lead on damp, mould and disrepair cases across their housing stock.
Responsibilities of the Disrepair Lead:
Managing cases of damp, mould and disrepair from report to resolution, keeping records and making sure residents are kept informed.
Inspecting properties for damp, mould, condensation, leaks, penetrating damp, and structural issues.
Investigating the underlying cause
Coordinating repairs with maintenance teams, contractors, surveyors, and other departments.
Prioritising higher-risk cases
Arranging mould treatment and remedial works
Monitoring trends and repeat cases to identify recurring building or maintenance problems.
Advising residents on practical measures around ventilation, heating and condensation
Ensuring compliance with relevant housing, health and safety, and organisational requirements. xjnqpsq
Producing reports and performance information for managers, housing teams or senior leadership.
