Description

Scheduler / Coordinator

Bishop’s Stortford area

£30,000–£35,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Scheduler or Coordinator who knows how to keep engineers, tradespeople and contractors organised—and clients confidently informed?

We are recruiting for a growing and successful business with an excellent reputation for service. You’ll be joining a friendly, committed team and a management team that genuinely encourages people to develop and progress internally.

This is a busy, responsible position coordinating maintenance and project work for commercial clients from the initial request through to completion and sign-off.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

* Receiving, assessing and logging new maintenance and project requests

* Scheduling engineers, tradespeople and external contractors

* Coordinating jobs according to priority, location and required skills

* Booking engineers and contractors onto commercial client sites

* Ensuring site-access requests and supporting information are processed correctly

* Checking trades and contractors in and confirming site arrangements

* Maintaining regular communication with clients, engineers and contractors

* Preparing and sending quotations

* Following up outstanding quotations and approvals

* Monitoring live jobs through to completion and client sign-off

* Keeping CRM records and project information accurate and up to date

* Producing and updating project reports

* Building positive, long-term relationships with commercial clients

* Managing changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and service standards

What we’re looking for

You will ideally have previous coordination or scheduling experience gained within construction, property maintenance, facilities management or another engineer-led environment.

You should also have:

* Experience coordinating projects, jobs, engineers, tradespeople or contractors

* Confidence arranging site visits and managing access requirements

* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

* The ability to prioritise and independently manage a busy workload

* Clear, professional written and verbal communication

* Experience building relationships with commercial clients

* Confidence updating CRM or job-management systems

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

* A proactive approach to resolving problems and keeping work moving

Why apply?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and people-focused company that cares about delivering outstanding service and employing good people. You’ll become part of a supportive team where your contribution will be valued and where internal development and progression are actively encouraged.

Please apply with your CV for an initial confidential conversation. xjnqpsq

Due to the anticipated volume of applications, we may not be able to respond individually to every applicant. If your experience closely matches the requirements of the role, we will contact you to discuss the opportunity further
