Contracts Manager Groundworks
We are working on behalf of an established construction company who are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the groundworks and civil engineering package on a major industrial development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the groundworks package and site teams. Oversee earthworks, drainage, utilities, foundations, roads and external works. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, labour and plant. Monitor programmes, costs, quality and health & safety. Liaise with clients, consultants and principal contractors. Manage variations, commercial issues and project risks. About you:
Proven Contracts Manager experience within groundworks/civil engineering. Experience on large-scale industrial, commercial or logistics developments. Strong commercial, programme and people-management skills. SMSTS/CSCS Full UK driving licence.
