The Opportunity

We are looking for a high–calibre Construction Manager to join a global project team, overseeing construction delivery across complex, high–specification projects.

This is not a traditional site–based Construction Manager role. The position will involve international travel between project sites, working closely with clients, contractors, designers and wider project teams to ensure successful delivery.

We are particularly interested in individuals with experience gained within Tier 1 contractors and complex environments such as Energy from Waste, stadiums, major infrastructure or similarly high–accountability projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring construction activities are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered to the required standards of safety, quality, programme and commercial performance.

Key areas will include:

Managing and coordinating construction activities across multiple projects/sites.

Working closely with project teams, contractors, designers and clients.

Reviewing and managing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality requirements.

Understanding and managing contractual programmes and construction schedules.

Working within Design & Build environments and coordinating design development through to construction.

Ensuring robust health & safety documentation and processes are maintained.

Supporting project teams through commissioning, completion and handover.

Ensuring O&M manuals and associated handover documentation are delivered to the required standard.

Identifying construction risks and driving solutions before they impact programme or delivery.

Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical construction knowledge with the confidence and communication skills to operate at a senior level.

Ideally, you will have:

Proven experience as a Construction Manager on complex, high–value projects.

Previous Tier 1 contractor experience.

Experience within Energy from Waste, stadiums, major infrastructure or similarly complex/high–specification environments.

Strong understanding of construction programmes, ITPs, Design & Build and project documentation.

Good knowledge of health & safety requirements and construction compliance.

Experience through to commissioning, completion and handover.

The ability to work in high–accountability environments where attention to detail is critical.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

The flexibility and willingness to travel internationally between project sites.
