Astute's Power team are looking to recruit a Cladding Supervisor on an Energy from Waste Project in London on a 24-month minimum contract.

Key skills

Know the daily and weekly programme activities for the cladding package.Drive subcontractor productivity to meet or improve planned dates.Confirm labour, materials, access equipment (MEWPs, scaffold, lifting) and permits each morning before work starts, and that MEWP operators hold a valid IPAF PAL card for the machine category.Check RAMS and equipment limits before work at height or the lifting of cladding materials starts and stop work where those limits are exceeded.Attend the morning coordination meeting; confirm prior day's progress and identify blockers before they affect programme.Candidates must hold an in-date SSSTS & CSCS Gold cardCandidates must have experience in supervising cladding subcontractors on building envelope installation on a large construction projectMust have experience supervising working at heights and lifting of cladding materialsMust also ideally hold experience on an Energy from Waste or large industrial building envelope projects.
