Carpenter CIS

Description

A leader within the construction sector is looking for experienced carpenters to join their team. You will be working on a high end aprtment block completing 18mm plywood subfloor works. We also have various other door install and general carpentry roles available so please apply if you are available for work and we will contact you with any relevant projects.

The successful candidate will have:

* At least two year’s experience in carpentry

* Previous plywood subfloor experience

* A strong background in carpentry and joinery

* Excellent technical knowledge of fire door compliance

* NVQ or equivalent in carpentry

* Experience installing fire doors and frames

* Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames

* Experience working on social housing FRA contracts

* Own van/transport to carry materials

Roles and responsibilities

* Plywood sub floor works

* Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification

* Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately

* Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work

* Liaise with customers and members of the general public

What's on offer?

* Self-employed works on a CIS basis. xjnqpsq Potential for ongoing works if open to other projects.

* £250 CIS per day based on 8 hrs worked
