Caretaker

Description

RM Recruit are working with a fantastic business based in Walsall who are on the lookout for an interim Caretaker for circa 2 months with a view for extension.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a forward thinking organisation where duties include:

Assisting in the effective implementation of the grounds maintenance service General maintenance of the grounds on the estate General inspections and dealing with and reporting fly tipping, vandalism, graffiti, fire integrity etc. Ensure that all designated areas are maintained and kept to a high standard. Provide comprehensive, proactive and efficient support to the management team, ensuring all agreed timescales and service standards are achieved Responsible for weeding, pruning, hedge trimming, borders, watering, mowing of the lawns and other duties for the general maintenance of the grounds on the estate. Maintain benches, pathways, fences, trees, signage and identify any health and safety hazards. Report any hazards to the Estate Coordinator Maintain grounds by trimming and weeding as required. Keep the gardens and footpaths clear and free from litter at all times. Ensure that all equipment and machinery is maintained and in good repair. Ensure all equipment, machinery are stored securely and clean after use. Report any faulty equipment to the Estate Co–ordinator. As the ideal candidate, you will be available immediately and you must have experience in undertaking gardening/grounds maintenance work, knowledge of horticultural, awareness of current health & safety regulations and carry out basic DIY.

You will ideally have access to a car and be confident in your approach.
