Builders Yard Operative

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday Saturdays on a rota basis

Our client is looking for a hardworking and reliable Builders Yard Operative to join their busy and fast-paced builders' merchant yard. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a friendly, hardworking team.

Key Responsibilities:

Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently Serving trade and retail customers in the yard Picking and preparing customer orders Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe Operating a forklift (where qualified/experienced) Assisting with general yard duties as required Requirements:

A valid forklift licence or previous experience operating a forklift A strong work ethic and a positive attitude Ability to work in a busy, physical environment Good communication and customer service skills Reliable and punctual
