Salary: 28,000 - 35,000

Location: Sheffield (Hybrid working on offer)

Our client is an established architecture and design practice based in Sheffield, working across a broad portfolio of sectors including residential, commercial, mixed-use, education, student accommodation, regeneration, and listed building projects. The practice has a strong track record of delivering projects across the UK, from new-build developments to sensitive refurbishments of heritage buildings.

The Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Architectural Technologist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a technologist looking to broaden their experience across a varied project portfolio, working on multiple schemes simultaneously and at different stages of the design and delivery process.

Key Responsibilities

Working across multiple live projects concurrently, at varying stages (from early design through to construction)Producing technical drawings and details using AutoCAD and RevitSupporting 3D visualisation and design communication using SketchUp/EnscapePreparing and referencing specification documentation via NBSCollaborating with the wider design team across a broad range of project typesCandidate Requirements

2-5 years' relevant experience as an Architectural TechnologistExperience working across multiple projects at the same time, ideally at different stages, is importantProficiency in AutoCAD (priority) and RevitExperience with 3D software such as SketchUp and/or EnscapeConfident user of NBS and Microsoft OfficeFull UK driving licence required, as the role involves travelWorking Arrangements

Office-based a minimum of 2 days per week (Monday and Thursday)New starters will be required to work from the office full-time for the first 3-4 weeks as part of onboarding/trainingGiven this, candidates should be able to comfortably commute to or be based near Sheffield, at least initially
