Description

Here at Halton Housing, we are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to work across our vibrant organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to kick–start your career in electrical installation, combining practical, on–the–job experience with formal learning. You ll work alongside experienced electricians while attending college, gaining the skills and knowledge needed to become a qualified Electrical Technician.

Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Salary: To align with the National Living Wage

Duration: Up to 4 years

What You ll Do:

Support qualified electricians with installation, maintenance, testing and repair work across our housing stock

Learn and apply safe working practices in line with legal and organisational requirements

Deliver excellent customer service when working in customers homes

Use tools and technology to carry out tasks efficiently and correctly

Attend college and fully engage with learning, coursework and assessments

Build strong working relationships with colleagues, customers and partners

What You ll Need:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade 4 or above

A strong willingness to learn and develop both technical and personal skills

Good communication skills and a professional approach

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Good attention to detail and time management skills

A full UK driving licence (or willingness to work towards one)
