Description
Xbox 360 Steering Wheel and Pedals
2x AA battery powered.
(NO POWER SUPPLY (PSU) INCLUDED).
The Steering Rim: It is a 10-inch wheel featuring a solid build with high-grip rubberized hand areas and a sleek chrome bottom section.
Button Layout: The crossbar houses full Xbox 360 controller inputs, including a D-pad, the Xbox Guide button, Start, Back, and the ABXY face buttons.
Shifting: It features two large, F1-style plastic paddle shifters positioned directly behind the rim, offering a tactile click for manual gear changes.
Headset Integration: A built-in 2.5mm port sits on the base to let you plug in a standard wired Xbox 360 headset for Xbox Live voice chat.
Battery-Powered Operation (Truly Wireless): The wheel features a removable side hatch that holds a standard Xbox 360 battery pack or 2x AA batteries. When running strictly on batteries, the heavy force feedback motor is completely disabled to protect battery life. The wheel will operate with standard, light dual rumble vibrations.
Connection: The floor-mounted pedal unit connects to the back of the main wheel base via a long RJ11 cable (which looks similar to a standard telephone wire).
Resistance: It houses an accelerator and a brake pedal using heavy internal springs. The brake pedal provides progressive resistance, meaning it gets firmer the further down you press it to allow for accurate braking thresholds.
Ergonomics: The pedal base is engineered with a hollowed-out heel section. When your feet rest naturally on the base, your own body weight pins the plastic unit down, stopping it from sliding forward across carpet or hard flooring while driving.
Two Ways to Mount and Play
Microsoft built the device to support two different physical setups:
On Your Lap: The underside of the wheelbase features a wide, contoured, curved bottom designed to rest comfortably across your thighs. This allows for casual couch gaming without needing extra furniture.
Desk/Table Clamp: For intense force feedback sessions, the wheel includes a robust, detachable screw-clamp accessory. It clips tightly underneath the wheel and locks the base securely onto countertops or desks to prevent the strong internal motors from twisting the frame out of your hands.
