I'm Evan, founder of SortaSystems. I started this business because I kept seeing the same problem everywhere. Technology is supposed to buy you time, but it usually ends up stealing it.

Most people come to me wanting a new site. A first proper one, a replacement for something years out of date, a shop that renders on a phone as it does on a laptop. The right build is different every time. Some jobs want a fast static site that loads instantly, some need user accounts and payments sitting behind them, and some are an actual fit for WordPress.

Building it is one thing. Keeping it alive is the part people forget. Domain renewals go to an email address nobody checks any more, the card on the hosting account expires, plugins sit unpatched for years, and nobody finds out until the site is down, the rankings have gone, or somebody else has bought the domain out from under them. I set it up so that doesn't happen, with renewals and hosting in your name and the dates on record, and I can keep an eye on it monthly afterwards if you would rather not think about it again.

Before SortaSystems I spent over 10 years in cybersecurity and telecoms, designing systems within microservices platforms that process billions of transactions a day. At that volume there is nowhere to hide. Systems have to stay up, stay fast, be resilient when something breaks, and you find out quickly when design decisions were the wrong ones.
SortaSystems brings the useful parts of that world to smaller businesses: clear design, sensible security, quick systems, recoverable data, and reasonable costs.
