This shared workshop / studio space has been used by makers for years and spaces have recently become available. It would be suitable for a woodworker, artists, fine arts metal worker, ceramist, sewing studio or any other arts and crafts. I could imagine other more office / digital based working well too. A jewellery maker currently occupies one desk in the space and there's an artist, a stained glass artist and ceramist using other parts of the building.

The downstairs workshop is currently separated into 4 sections separated by desks but as 3 spaces are going to be freed up this this could be rearranged depending on requirements, if someone wanted to take on more space.

Toilet with a shower, communal outside table, shared workshop, woodworking area and hot works (forge) are also available for use.

The space will be available until at least Sept 2026, as I plan to start some building work on the building at that point, or soon after.

The price would be dependent on how much space is required but would be in the region of £300 depending on footprint. The workshop isn't used every day at the moment so it would be a peaceful place to work.
