Job Overview

As a Hoffman Presser, you will press garments and other items to a neat, presentable finish, following care instructions and handling each piece attentively. You will help maintain a reliable service by working carefully, keeping items organised and communicating clearly with colleagues when an item needs attention.

Duties

Inspect items before pressing, noting visible marks, damage or care requirements and raising concerns with the appropriate colleague.
Set up and operate pressing equipment safely, selecting suitable settings for the fabric and item.
Press, fold and organise finished items, checking presentation and keeping the work area tidy.
Your impact: Careful pressing and clear handovers help colleagues prepare items consistently and give customers a polished result.

Skills

Required: You should be experienced and able to follow care instructions, handle items with attention to detail, work safely with pressing equipment and keep your work organised.

Clear communication supports effective handovers and helps you flag concerns promptly.
Experience is advantageous, particularly where you have handled garments or guest items and understand the importance of careful presentation and dependable service.
