The loft find/barn find of the century.
Fresh from a dusty loft, this vintage, original and 100% genuine leather bike jacket is in fantastic condition.

It was manufactured in England, by LUDA motorcycle clothing. (very rare) it's made from top quality, heavy grade cow hide. Size approx 38-42 inch chest. It has leather overlayed logo's, Kawasaki and Z1000 branding and "Jim's" name tag, proudly emblazoned on the chest.

Who is Jim, you ask?

Jim was the kid that could out ride, out drink, out fight anyone. He's the guy your girlfriend wished she was riding pillion with. Jim was first to the bar after a race back from The Cock O the North. He'd still be drinking Newkie Brown well after the rest of us had gone for the bus. In short, Jim was the original Legend.

The leather is very supple and has a wonderful "patina", with some signs of use and wear, commensurate with it's age (40-50 years old) all adding to it's charm and character. All zips and fasteners work as they should, the cotton twill lining is in very good order.

If you are a fan of 70's-80's Japanese superbikes, then you will be aware of the legendary Kawasaki Z series motorcycles. Z900, Z1000 et al.

Their popularity with us Brits, probably began in the mid 70's with Z900's, to their AMA heyday in the hands of legends like Pops Yoshimura and Eddie Lawson. This love affair, for many continues on today, with modern versions of the same bikes, with even more impressive performance credentials.

A must for any fan or owner of a period Kawasaki. Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, Goodwood.

Personally, I'd have it mounted and framed and proudly display in my garage, or Man-Cave.
