Description
Offered for sale a stately mantle/ bracket clock by Winterhalder Hofmeier.
It is a time only model and measures 33cm high 20cm wide 15cm deep.
Believed to be circa 1890, the condition of the clock is excellent.
It stands at 33cm tall with a 4 face, sloping turret top.
It is positively majestic in appearance and deserves the status of bracket clock.
These clocks were considered the premier clocks of the victorian era.
The oak casing, the spandrels and the clock face with Roman numerals is typical of the time.
