Description
A nice 8 day striking longcase clock signed J. Brown (John Brown) of Modbury Devon c1835.
A very nice oak case with a long door standing on bracket feet, a domed hood which is glazed to the sides and front.
A good weight driven 8 day movement which has been cleaned and fitted with new gut lines, striking the hours on a cast bell.
Painted steel dial with ornate brass hands signed J. Brown, Modbury.
The date wheel is not working.
Complete with pendulum and weights.
Standing 2005cm high.
