PA/CARER FOR A WOMAN WITH CEREBRAL PALSY

I would like a male or female PA to work for me 2 days a week to assist me. This is not a nursing job. You must like cats and dogs.

Hi, I’m Tracey Thomas. I employ people to assist me in my life. This is not a general care job. I am in full control of my life mentally and emotionally. I employ people to assist me physically. You are here to assist me in everything from personal care to enabling to go out socially. I am not your client in any way.

The rate of pay is £286.80 pound per 24ht shift before tax.

You will have two days where you are shown by another member of staff everything to do with working with me.

I won’t ask you to work more than two days at a time. This is two lots of 24 hours together. Sleeping in. I find two days together is enough for people. This blocks out people getting too tired and getting too familiar with me and thinking they can mould the job to their needs. If you want to work four days a week they will be split into two lots.

I will like it very much if you could come in if there is an emergency where the other member of staff is off sick. Please state if you are willing to do this. as well as covering if other staff have holidays.



Please state whether you are willing to work Christmas, Easter and other bank holidays.

I have 6 cats

I do try to earn myself a bit of extra cash by doing a part time job. I expect you to enable me to do this.


I love horses, I can't go horse riding, but I may only go and sit with them once a week. So if you don't like big animals like this please think carefully about taking this job.


I have a passion for soul music. I go concerts and soul nightclubs. I need people who are willing to enable me to go out socially.

It is a must that you understand the job and that you want to do it the way it stands. It also helps if we get on. I am a friendly kind employer. I need to put my needs first when you work though.
