Hello! Nice to meet you! Thank you for visiting my profile.
My name is Chisato. I’m from Kagoshima - Japan, but I’ve also lived in Tokyo, Chiba, Kanagawa, and Tottori. I’ve spent some time living in Australia as well. ️

-Teaching Experience
I worked as a Japanese language teaching assistant at a secondary school in Australia, supporting students from Year 7 to Year 12, including HSC preparation.
In addition to exam support, I also developed skills in giving feedback and assessments.
I also have experiences teaching private lessons both online and in-person, working with variety of learners of all ages and levels from beginner to advanced levels.

Lesson content varies depending on each student’s goals. I will think together about what kind of lessons are best for you.

I'm also a language learner, so I understand what it feels like to be a language learner. My English is intermediate. Since more than half of my students are beginners, I often use English for explanations when needed. If you are just starting Japanese, don’t worry—I’ll guide you step by step.

Some want to study Japanese seriously, some just want to enjoy casual conversations, and others are mainly interested in Japanese culture. Please feel relaxed during lessons—I will do my best to make learning Japanese enjoyable for you. Even though I’m your teacher, I’d like you to feel comfortable talking with me like a friend.
