For sale is our brilliant 2009 Citroen C1 1.0 VTR which is only £20 per year to tax, extremely low insurance and MOT til April 2026! Please do not confuse our car with all the scruffy C1’s and Peugeot 107’s out there, ours is in a different league!

Bob runs and drives like brand new! He has the super reliable 1.0 petrol engine which is chain driven (so no cam belt to worry about). He is great in fuel, averaging around 65 MPG (£40 for a full tank). Over the last couple of years he’s had all the future proof maintenance carried out including all the underside refreshed and undersealed, welding to the sills carried out (which is “essential” on these cars), suspension bushes renewed, brakes replaced, exhaust replaced, new battery and the clutch changed, all receipts to hand, all within the last 10,000 miles! The current mileage is 99,000. The MOT is til the 3rd April 2026 with no advisories. We have just given it a fresh oil service too ready for the new owner! It drives absolutely perfect with no squeaks, unusual noises, warning lights etc. It idles perfect, starts perfect, stops perfect! It’s genuinely a fabulous car with nothing to worry about!

The annual road tax is only £20 per year. It is one of the lowest insurance group cars out there being only group 3 so ideal as a first car, a car to learn to drive in or an affordable daily run about!

It’s in fantastic condition for its age and far superior to most out there and no lacquer peel like all the others! It’s the full facelift model so looks much better than the others! It’s never been involved in any accidents and still has the original dealer plates front and rear on it! The interior is lovely, nice and clean. It has a little age related imperfections but overall really good! I do have a set of matts which I will include. We’ve just fitted brand new wheel covers and do have a set of sporty black ones too which are in great condition which we’ll include as well! It comes with 2 keys, parcel shelf, spare wheel, tool kit, current and historic MOT documentation and receipts for all works stated above!
