Description
A vintage Stanley Record No. 4/12 smoothing plane in very good condition. There are some general signs of use in places as you'd expect from a piece of this age, but it is still strong and sturdy with a sharp blade. These were made in the mid-20th century and are built to last.
This particular plane belonged to my grandad who was a keen builder and DIY enthusiast. It has since been passed down via my dad but unfortunately I'm not as keen (or as skilled) in this area and have no real use it. I have inherited so many tools of various types and ages that I can't keep hold of everything, so it is time to find a new home for them.
Dimensions: L - 16xm x W - 8cm x H - 13cm. Weight - 2.25kg.
