Pair of Vintage Mid Century Peter Marsh Leaded Rock Glass & Wrought Iron Lantern Lamps circa 50s to 70s

We are delighted to offer this fabulous & now quite rare matching pair of vintage Lanterns. Designed & made by Peter Marsh of Birmingham, England. These lanterns are in superb age related condition. Both are clearly stamped on the base edge ‘ Peter Marsh Birmingham England ‘ which is nice to see as not all his work was stamped.

Brightly coloured rock glass hand leaded in a box frame with wrought iron scroll top gallery & hang hook. Both have original bulb fitting & both are in good working order. They give a delightful warm glow when lite.

It’s rare these days to find a Peter Marsh lamp but here we have two & a matching pair. Their style & design is typical of Peter’s work & would date nicely to the late 1950's early 1970's.

These lanterns come direct from a recent estate sale & are sold in superb as found vintage condition. These are vintage so have some very very minor age related surface scuffs. Please study the pictures for more details. Overall each lamp is in superb display usable solid condition. Both have been properly cleaned & so are now ready to love, use & enjoy once more.

This set would make a fabulous interior design statement or entry porch . . .
