Live In Nanny/Governess - Oxford - ASAP

This family is looking for an experienced, educated nanny/governess for their two school aged children.

Overview

The ideal candidate will be switched-on and highly organised, ideally with a background in teaching, tutoring or education. You'll work closely with Mum who likes to be hands on when she can be.

The working day starts at 6:30am to do the morning routine and get the children off to school. You'll be on duty until midday to do any admin and planning, before having a break. You'll then come back on duty in the afternoon in time for school pick-ups, activities, homework etc. before starting the evening routines.

The family travels extensively during every school holiday and throughout the summer. Candidates must therefore be highly flexible and comfortable accompanying the family internationally for extended periods.

This is a busy, fully staffed household, so strong communication is key.

Duties included but not limited to:

Supporting the children's educational development including helping with home work and exam preparation. Planning activities and organising play datesManaging all school admin including routines, schedules and liaising with the schoolSchool runs and taking to extra-curricular activitiesEncouraging independenceTravel with the familyWorking with the parents and wider household team
