Antique Wooden Chest / Coffer – Good Condition

Lovely antique 17th Century wooden chest, perfect for storage or as a decorative piece.

Showing natural wear and tear that adds to its character

Made from solid wood with some nice carved details on the front and sides.

Does show some damages to top sides and legs and has had repairs done to it. One of the hinges is broken and some modern screws have been put in to stabilize the opening of the lid - original padlock and key is missing (as is the case with most, as these are worth more than the chest). Marks and scratches with spliting of wood in parts ( see photos)

Ideal for a living room, hallway, or bedroom to store blankets or other items.

Nice interior piece. i have had this for about 8 years in my living room , but decided time to let it go.

Will need two people to pick up as i am unable to help due to injury
