Description
Solid wooden chest of drawers with 6 functional drawers.
It shows signs of wear on the top surface.
All drawers open and close smoothly, and the wooden knobs are intact.
This piece would be great for a DIY project or for immediate use in a spare room.
Modern. not I think hand-made.
Has (very nicely done) dovetail joints.
I would think the outside is veneer (beech? maybe) and the inside is pine.
The drawers slide in and out, not on metal rails, not on runners, they just slide.
Which means, they won't get stuck and you won't have to take the thing apart to fix the sliding mechanism.
The drawers are not very deep (see photos).
As it has no sliding mechanism, it is unsuitable for storing very heavy things like gold bars or osmium. Up to you though.
The knobs are wooden.

D 16"/ 40.5 cm
NB I cannot deliver as I have only a sack barrow: I can deliver only within 1 mile of the clocktower in Crouch End.
NB again: if you don't like the handles it's a simple task to change them.
