Days: Monday-Saturday (term-times only)

Salary: £65,000–£75,000+ gross per annum (depending on experience)

Contract: Contracted, Permanent

A warm and appreciative UHNW family are seeking a calm, organised and self-managing Private Chef to cook for their London Belgravia household

This is a newly created role and offers an excellent work/life balance for the right candidate due to the family’s extensive travel schedule

The household includes three young children (aged between 2-7), and the family are seeking a Chef who is not only confident with delicious, healthy, homely cooking, but who also enjoys being engaging and positive around children

The family would ideally like a Monday to Saturday commitment during school term time. There is no requirement to travel with the family, and they are always away during school holidays. When the family are not in residence, there may be occasional visits to the property to deep clean and reset the kitchen. This is a lovely opportunity for a family-orientated Chef seeking stability, appreciation and balance within a relaxed yet well-run private household.

Duties include:

• Preparing healthy, well-balanced family meals focusing on Mediterranean-style cooking, including pasta, fish and meat dishes

• Cooking lunch and dinner daily (no breakfast required)

• Preparing simple, nutritious meals suitable for young children

• Pantry management, stock rotation and date checking

• Grocery shopping and supplier management

• Kitchen cleaning, washing up and maintaining excellent hygiene standards

• Managing receipts and basic kitchen accounts

• Cooking for a small number of staff (with sensible leftovers where appropriate)

• Catering for informal entertaining when required

• Keeping the kitchen organised, well stocked and efficiently run

• Deep cleaning and resetting the kitchen during periods when the family are away

• Be eligible to work in the UK

• Have a valid DBS check or be willing to obtain one

• Have excellent contactable references

• Have 3-5+ years’ experience working as a Chef within a private household
